Manufactured in Pennsylvania. This glass is named after a local Indian Tribe. One of the things that make this glass different
from most other types of the glass is the large amount of face mottling. The pattern is more evenly distributed and covers a
large amount of the sheet. The larger sheet, good curability of the glass and lower price makes this products a good buy.
Because of the translucent quality of Stipple glass, there is a three dimensional effect when other colors are streaked through
the glass. In the manufacturing of Stipple glass, colors added appear to tear raggedly through the glass rather than bleed
and become muddy as in the case of traditional flourine glasses. The quality of Stipple glass becomes very evident when
illuminated. Stipple glass does not require dead opacity to hide the filament of a light bulb. It is possible to have translucent
glass which can hold its integrity when illuminated.
