Reinforcing Bars

"Reinforced" As its name indicates is a lead came that has been reinforced by putting a brass strip in the heart of the channel

1/4", 3/8", & 1/2" zinc-dipped steel bar 1/8" thick.  Used to prevent bowing and eventual lead sagin and general weakening.  Bars are gernerally installed on inside of panel with bar placed on edge and soldered wherever bar comes in contact with a lead line, or more preferably, an existing solder joint.
